The Mendoza Message

Week of June 8, 2025
I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. Next week will go by quickly. In less than a week, your child will be an official 3rd grader.
Even though it was gloomy and a bit wet, the children had so much fun at our End of the Year 2nd Grade Picnic. Thank you all for all that you did to make it a successful event. Please see below for photos of our event.
Lastly, the last day of school is on Wednesday, June 11th. Please let me and the office know if you know you will be going on Summer Break sooner than June 11th. I just want to make sure your child will be able to take home all of their classroom items before they leave for vacation.
Remember to look at the Lawton Lost and Found before the school year is done.
Dates to Remember:
6/10: 5th Grade Promotion at 2:00pm
6/11: Last Day of School. Clap Out at 11:05 am. Dismissal at 11:30 am
